ABOUT Chilly Paneer RECIPE

A North Indian appetizer which is very easy and tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. cottage cheese-150 gms
  2. corn flour-1tsp
  3. all purpose flour-1tsp
  4. rice flour-1tsp
  5. ginger garlic paste-1tsp
  6. oil for frying
  7. red chili powder-1 tsp
  8. black pepper powder-1 tsp
  9. ketchup 1tbsp
  10. chilly sauce 1 tbsp
  11. soya sauce-1tsp
  12. chopped onions-1/2 cup
  13. Red Food color as required (optional)
  14. 3 tbsp Onions cut in cubes
  15. 3 tbsp Capsicum cut in cubes
  16. salt to taste
  17. sugar 1 tsp
  18. red chili paste 1/2 tsp
  19. ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. in a bowl ,add all purpose flour,ginger garlic paste,corn flour,rice flour,red chili powder,salt and food color, make a paste with little water.
  2. Coat the cottage cheese cubes in this mixture. Keep it aide for 15 minutes
  3. Lightly fry the paneer cubes in oil. Keep it aside. Fry Onion cubes,capsicum cubes and green chilies. Keep it aside
  4. in a non stick pan, heat oil add chopped onions,ginger and garlic and saute till they turn translucent
  5. Add red chili paste and saute it for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add sauces and mix everything well
  7. Add in sugar,salt and pepper and mix well
  8. Add the fried cottage cheese cubes,capsicums and onions and chilies and toss them well and serve hot.
