Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/4 cup toor dal
  2. 1/4 cup channa dal
  3. 1 onion finely chopped
  4. 1/4 cup coriander leaves chopped
  5. 2 sprig curry leaves finely chopped
  6. 1/4 cup Amaranth leaves finely chopped
  7. Fried gram 1 tbsp
  8. Rice flour 1 tsp
  9. Dry Red chili 1
  10. Green chili 1
  11. Fennel seeds 1tsp
  12. Chopped Ginger 1 inch
  13. Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. oil for deep fry

Instructions

  1. SOAK DALS FOR 1.5 HOURS
  2. ADD DALS, GINGER, CHILIES, FENNEL SEEDS, FRIED GRAM IN BLENDER
  3. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES AND SALT. GRIND TO COARSE PASTE
  4. MIX WELL GROUND MIXTURE, ONION, TURMERIC, GREENS, CORIANDER LEAVES AND RICE FLOUR
  5. MAKE EQUAL PORTIONS OF MIXTURE AND SHAPE VADAS
  6. DEEP FRY ON MEDIUM FLAME UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.. SERVE HOT
