A refreshing and colourful smoothie fortified with oats.

Spinach oats smoothie

Ingredients to make Spinach oats smoothie

  • 2 cups/ 340 gms yogurt
  • 1 and 1/2 cup spinach
  • 4 tbsp instant oats
  • sugar or honey to taste
  • 1/4 tsp orange rind

How to make Spinach oats smoothie

  1. Dry roast the oats in a pan until the nutty smell emanates from it.
  2. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
  3. Add all the listed ingredients into the blender and blitz it to a smoothie.
  4. Serve chilled or as it is, it tastes best either way!

My Tip:

Make sure to cool the oats to room temperature to avoid lumps . I have used 4 tbsp sugar, however you can add sugar as per taste depending on the sour or sweetness of the yogurt. Added orange rind just for flavour and to make the kids enjoy spinach .
