Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mixed dal - 8 tbsp
  2. Suji - 4tbsp
  3. Onion - 1, medium, finely chopped
  4. Green chili - 4, chopped
  5. Hing powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak dal overnight, clean and drain excess water.
  2. Grind it to a fine paste. Transfer to mixing bowl
  3. Add all other ingredients with enough water to form smooth batter
  4. Pour laddle of batter on tawa, drizzle 1/2 to 1 tsp oil per chilla, cook on both sides.
  5. Serve hot with green chutney
