Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 big crown broccoli cut medium size pieces
  2. 1 cup maida
  3. 1/2 cup cornflour
  4. 2 tbsp green chili paste
  5. Oil for frying
  6. 1 /2 cup chopped green onions
  7. 1 tsp grated Ginger
  8. 1 tsp grated garlic
  9. 1 tbsp black pepper powder
  10. 2 tbsp soya sauce
  11. 1 tbsp vinegar
  12. 1 cup chopped mix color bell peppers
  13. Salt to taste
  14. 1 egg
  15. 1 tbs cornflour slurry

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add maida,cornflour,soya sauce,garlic powder,1 tbsp green chili paste,1 tbsp black pepper, egg, salt to taste and little water to form a thick batter.
  2. Add broccoli in batter mix properly and fry it until golden brown. Keep it aside
  3. For gravy: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan ,add garlic and ginger, green and yellow pepper and green onions.
  4. Saute for 2 minutes then add 1 tbsp green chili paste,soya sauce,1/2 tbsp black pepper, vinegar and salt to taste.
  5. Saute 2 more minutes and add fried broccoli, mix well and add 1 glass water. Add corn flour slurry, mix and boil for 2 minutes more.
  6. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
