A layered parantha with the taste of butter.

Laccha Parantha

Ingredients to make Laccha Parantha

  • Whole wheat flour- 3 cups
  • salt - 1/2 tbsp
  • Ajwain - 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Desi ghee/ butter- 1 cup

How to make Laccha Parantha

  1. Make a dough of the whole wheat flour, salt, ajwain and water.
  2. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Make a roti of the dough and then spread the ghee or butter on it.
  4. Roll it in zig zag style as shown in the picture.
  5. Once again roll it like a chapati and bake on a tawa with ghee or butter.
  6. Your layered cum lachha parantha is ready!
  7. Serve hot with mango pickle for best taste.
