ABOUT Moroccan Baghrir RECIPE

Super soft and light pancakes. A popular Moroccan breakfast and snack option. Usually served with Butter and Honey.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina 300gms
  2. All Purpose Flour 150gms
  3. Dry Yeast 1 tbsp
  4. Salt 2 tsp
  5. Sugar 2 tsp
  6. Water 750 ml
  7. Butter to drizzle

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Add water as required and form a smooth batter
  3. Rest the batter for 30 mins
  4. Heat a pan and brush butter on it
  5. Pour a spoonful of batter on the pan and spread it evenly
  6. Cook only on one side, do not flip and cook, once the holes start appearing, its done
  7. Serve hot with Honey and Butter
