Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. FOR GREEN MASALA
  2. Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  3. mint leaves 16
  4. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  5. 1/2 inch ginger
  6. 5-6 garlic pods
  7. 6 small green chili
  8. 4 red chili
  9. 1 cardamom
  10. 1 inch cinnamon
  11. FOR RICE
  12. 450 gm prawns
  13. 1 tbsp yogurt
  14. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  15. 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  16. 1 tsp coriander powder
  17. 2 tsp ghee
  18. 1 small cinnamon stick
  19. cloves 2
  20. 2 onion thinly sliced
  21. 2 tomato finely chopped
  22. 1 1/2 cup coconut milk
  23. 1 cup rice
  24. 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Grind coriander leaves , pudina,fennel seeds , ginger garlic, green chili, red chili.,cardamom, cinnamon to a smooth paste
  2. Mix yogurt , red chili powder , turmeric powder , coriander powder and half of green paste in a bowl. marinate prawns with mixture for 30 minutes
  3. In a pan , heat ghee . Add cinnamon , clove, sliced onions and tomato .Cook till mushy
  4. Add the marinated prawns and remaining ground paste and mix well.
  5. Add coconut milk , soaked rice , salt and cook till done. Serve hot
