ABOUT Stuffed Capsicum RECIPE

It is a, exotic recipe which is stuffed by boiled rice crumbled Paneer curd and raisins with some spices

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 medium size capsicum
  2. For stuffing
  3. 100 gm Paneer
  4. 150 gms boiled rice
  5. 1 tbsp raisins
  6. 3 tbsp thick curd
  7. 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  8. 1 tsp salt
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  10. 1 tsp chat masala
  11. 1 chopped green chili
  12. 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  13. 1 tsp oil
  14. For gravy
  15. 2 tsp oil
  16. 2 medium onions
  17. 3 big tomatoes
  18. 4 pods crushed garlic
  19. 1 inch grated ginger
  20. 2 green chilies chopped
  21. 1 tsp Shahi jeera
  22. 2 tsp coriander powder
  23. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  24. 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  25. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  26. 1 tsp sugar
  27. 1 tsp Sabji masala
  28. 1 tbsp cream or malai
  29. 1 cup water
  30. 3 tbsp chopped coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Remove seeds from capsicum and make it hollow.
  2. Now mix all ingredients mentioned under stuffing and add stuffing to capsicum.
  3. Place capsicums in microwave safe bowl and add oil over it.
  4. Microwave it for 5-7 mins or till it becomes tender. Keep it aside
  5. For gravy
  6. Grind onions and tomatoes to form smooth puree. Keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter cumin seeds
  7. Now add ginger garlic and green chili and saute for 2-3 minutes
  8. Add all spices except sugar and saute for a minute.
  9. Add ground puree and saute until oil leaves sides of the pan
  10. Add cream and saute for 2 minutes
  11. Add sugar and mix well.
  12. Add water and bringto boil.
  13. Now pour this gravy over the capsicum.
  14. Again microwave it for 5-7 mins.
  15. Garnish it with chopped coriander and serve hot

Looks great. Tomato and onion based gravy make it more delicious.
