Ingredients to make Methi matar malai paneer

  • Methi - 250 gms (finely chopped)
  • Matar/peas - 1/2 cup
  • Cream- 1/2 cup
  • Paneer- 100 gms
  • Oil or ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Zeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato- 3 medium
  • Onion - 3 medium
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
  • Green Chillies - 2
  • Cashew - 12
  • Sugar- 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp

How to make Methi matar malai paneer

  1. Take a deep pan, put in the chopped methi and matar and keep it on a high flame.
  2. Once it is heated, lower the flame and keep it for 5-7 mins.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add zeera.
  4. Next, add all the spices along with the onion tomato puree. Let it cook till the oil separates itself.
  5. After this time, add cream and cook for 2-4 mins.
  6. Finally, add methi and matar along with salt and sugar.
  7. Then add the paneer pieces and adjust the consistency by pouring in some water.
  8. Bring this to boil and then turn off the stove as it is ready to be served.
