Kadhai Paneer

Ingredients to make Kadhai Paneer

  • 250 gm Paneer
  • 2 medium onion chopped
  • 1 capsicum chopped
  • 4 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 green chillies
  • A pinch of kasuri methi
  • 1/4 Cup Cream
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 3 tbsp oil/ghee
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing

How to make Kadhai Paneer

  1. Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add in the chopped onions and ginger paste. Saute and cook till this turns golden brown, then add tomatoes in the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add in all the spices along with capsicum and water. Then add the paneer pieces and kasuri methi.
  3. Cook this on a medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
  4. After this time, add cream and mix it well. Cook it for another 2 mins.
  5. Garnish with coriander and serve hot alongside rice or roti.
