Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Spinach / Palak 2 Cups
  2. Green Chili 2 , chopped
  3. Turmeric Powder 1/4 Teaspoon
  4. Ginger 1 inch Piece
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil For Deep Frying
  7. Wheat Flour 2 Cups

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
  2. Heat 4 cups of water. Add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and bring the water to boil
  3. Add spinach, green chili and ginger and cook the spinach for 3-4 minutes and then switch off
  4. Drain the water from cooked spinach. Allow the cooked spinach to cool off completely. Grind to smooth paste
  5. In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, spinach puree, salt and mix well. Add water and knead it to a smooth dough
  6. Make small balls out from dough. Roll into puris
  7. Deep fry the pooris until golden brown. Drain excess oil. Serve hot with curry
