PUNJABI STYLE BESAN CHILLA

Ingredients to make PUNJABI STYLE BESAN CHILLA

  • Besan - 2 cups
  • Chillies- 3
  • Capsicum - 1 small
  • Onions- 1
  • Oregano and chili flakes - 1 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup
  • Oil - for tawa fry
  • Salt to taste

How to make PUNJABI STYLE BESAN CHILLA

  1. Chop finely onion, capsicum and green chillies.
  2. Make a batter by adding the chopped vegetables in besan and then add water.
  3. Now add salt, oregano and chilli flakes
  4. Now put the tawa on medium flame and let it be hot. Put half tbsp oil on it.
  5. Put 2 -3 tbsp batter on tawa and equalize it with spatula and put bit oil more on side
  6. Let it bake and then change the side and put bit oil so that it wont stick.
  7. Similarly make all the chillas.
My Tip: Serve it with tomato ketchup as its very spicy
