French Toast

Ingredients to make French Toast

  • 4 Bread slices
  • Eggs 2
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon 1/8 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 1 pinch
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Castor sugar 1 tsp
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • A few strawberries, blueberries and banana
  • Maple syrup/honey 2 tbsp

How to make French Toast

  1. Cut the slices of bread into triangles.
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl, then pour in milk and beat it well again.
  3. Next, add in sugar, a pinch of salt, vanilla essence, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir these ingredients well together.
  4. Dip the slices of the bread in this egg mixture and coat both the sides well.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry these bread slices on both sides till it turns golden brown in colour.
  6. Take out the fried slices and place them on an absorbent paper.
  7. Serve them with berries and pan fried banana slices. Drizzle some maple syrup on top and serve hot.
