Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 2 spring onion, chopped
  3. 1 green chili, chopped
  4. 1 tsp chopped ginger.
  5. 1/2 cup green peas
  6. 2 capsicum, chopped
  7. 1 cup finely chopped spinach
  8. 1/2 cup chopped green methi
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  11. 1 big cardamom
  12. 1/4 tsp red pepper
  13. 4 cloves
  14. 1 bay leaf
  15. 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak rice for 1 hour. Drain excess water and keep it aside
  2. Heat oil in a cooker. Add cumin seeds, cardamom, bay leaf and cloves. Saute for 1 minute
  3. Add onions and saute for 3-4 minutes
  4. Add ginger and green chilies. Saute for 1-2 minutes
  5. Add all chopped veggies and mix well
  6. Add salt and red pepper. Mix well
  7. Now add rice and water. Mix well
  8. Pressure Cook for 1 whistle.
  9. Open and gently mix. Serve hot with raita and salan
