Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Prawns 200 g
  2. Grated Coconut 1 cup
  3. Coconut Milk 1 Cup
  4. Egg 1
  5. Baking powder 1 tsp
  6. Baking soda 1 tsp
  7. Green Chilies Chopped 2 tsp
  8. Tomatoes Chopped 2 tsp
  9. Garlic chopped 2 tsp
  10. Onion chopped 2 tsp
  11. Ginger chopped 2 tsp
  12. Mustard paste 1 tsp
  13. Mustard oil 1 tsp
  14. Chili powder 1 tsp
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 1 tsp Sugar
  17. for covering: Banana leaves as required

Instructions

  1. Blend prawns with grated coconut. Transfer mixture to a bowl
  2. Add eggs , mustard paste, mustard oil, salt chili powder, sugar , onion, garlic, tomato, chili, ginger, coconut milk. Mix everything well
  3. Add baking soda, baking powder and mix well. Heat tawa and drizzle with oil. Grease banana leaf. Add the mixture on leaf and spread. cover it with another greased leaf on top
  4. Place banana leaf on hot tawa and cover with a bowl. cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Slice and serve yummy fluffy prawn cake
