Ingredients to make Kashmiri Kahwa

  • 4 tsp kashmiri green tea
  • 4pinches of saffron(kesar)strands
  • 2 cardamons(elaichi)slightly crushed
  • 8 blanched almonds(badam)finelychopped
  • 1/2"cinamon(dalchini)
  • 2 cloves(lavang)
  • 2 tbsp sugar

How to make Kashmiri Kahwa

  1. Boil 3 cups of water along with cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and pour over the tea. Leave to infuse over a very low flame.
  2. Meanwhile, dissolve saffron in a little water by rubbing it gently.Strain the tea and add the saffron liquid together with almonds. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Can replace sugar with honey.
