A puff pastry pie with a creamy mushroom filling
Heat the olive oil in a pan, saute the garlic and onions. Once they become transparent and soft, add the mushrooms and celery, cook till soft.
Sprinkle flour over the vegetable mix and fold it all together, let is cook on a low flame for 2-3 mins.
Pour in the milk and cream, let it begin to thicken, season with mustard powder, pepper and a salt. Take off the gas and add the cheese.
Fill two ceramic pie moulds with the cooled mushroom mix. Roll out the puff pastry and use a cookie cutter to cut a circle to cover the top of the filling.
You can make a crispy topping with any small shape for more pastry for the filling.
Bake at 200C for 4-5 minutes or till the pastry is evenly brown and crisp, serve hot.
