A great way to use up stale bread and dress up your soups and salads

Ingredients to make Croutons

  • 4 slices of stale bread
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Croutons

  1. 1. Cut the slices of bread into cubes. Drizzle with olive oil .
  2. 2. Bake for 10 minutes at 200 degree centigrade until croutons brown from the top. Remove and sprinkle with salt.
  3. 3. Toss in salads or soups for your benefit

My Tip:

The staler the bread the crisper the croutons. Just make sure there's no fungus on them.
