ABOUT Red chilli chow-mein RECIPE

This a gravy recipe served on top of garlic noodles. With spicy red chillies.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 8 pieces chicken (cleaned)
  2. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 2 tbsp red chilli sauce
  4. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 5 tbsp Oil
  8. 6-8 red chillies
  9. 2 tsp white sesame seeds
  10. 3 packet hakka noodles
  11. 2 tbsp crushed garlic
  12. 2 tbsp soya sauce
  13. 3 tbsp red chilli sauce
  14. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  15. 3 tbsp corn flour

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in salt ginger garlic paste red chilli sauce soya sauce and red chilli powder and keep for 2-3 hours.
  2. In a wok heat oil and add red chillies and roast it.
  3. Then add in sesame seeds and let it crackle.
  4. Then add in marinated chicken with water and let it cook for 15 min.
  5. Mean while boil the noodles with salt.
  6. In a pan heat oil and add in crushed garlic add in boiled noodles and toss it in.
  7. Once chicken comes to cook add sauces and left ingredients.
  8. Make slurry of corn flour and water and pour over the gravy allowing to cook and thicken.
  9. Put the noodles and top with gravy and serve.
