It is a Rajasthani delicasy called methi ki launji.main ingredient is fenugreek seeds.it is very good for indigestion and acidity.it can be served with indian bread

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Fenugreek seeds ¼ cup
  2. sugar 1 cup
  3. Dry dates 5-6
  4. Raisins ⅛ cup
  5. Salt ½ spoon
  6. Asafoedita 1 pinch
  7. Turmeric powder ¼ spoon
  8. Dried mango powder ¼ spoon
  9. Coriander powder ¼ spoon
  10. Chilly powder ⅛ spoon
  11. Cumin seed 1 pinch
  12. Oil 1 spoon
  13. Water ¼ cup

Instructions

  1. Soak fenugreek seeds for 2 hours
  2. Soak dry dates for 2 hours
  3. Boil both ingredients in a pressure cooker for 1 whistle
  4. Cut dates in thin long slices
  5. Soak raisins for 15 minutes
  6. Drain water of boiled fenugreek seeds
  7. Heat oil
  8. Add cumin seeds and aesfoedita
  9. Add all spices
  10. Add slat
  11. Add water
  12. Keep the flame low
  13. Add boiled ingredients and raisins
  14. Let it cook for 10 minutes
  15. Add sugar
  16. Serve with indian bread
