This is promising and doable healthy traditional marwadi dish from Rajasthan .

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 3/4 cup soaked (3-4 hour / overnight ) Dana methi (Fenugreek seeds) ,
  2. 1/2 cup soaked ( 1/2 hour ) Dakh ( kishmish ) ,
  3. 4 whole red chilli ,
  4. 4 tbsp oil ,
  5. 2 pinch hing ,
  6. 1/4 tsp jeera ,
  7. 1 tsp red chilli ,
  8. 1/4 tsp haldi ,
  9. salt to taste ,
  10. 1/4 cup sugar or to taste ,
  11. 1/2 tsp aamchoor

Instructions

  1. Firstly wash off danamethi with plain water without touching methi .
  2. Heat oil in a wok add jeera and hing after they crack add crushed whole red chilli , dana methi and haldi cook for about 3 - 4 mins .
  3. Now add kishmish ,salt ,red chilli powder and cook for another 2 - 3 mins stir often.
  4. Now add sugar and cook till sugar dissolves.
  5. After that add aamchoor and cook for a minute .
  6. Serve hot with thanda parantha .
