Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup suji
  2. 1 cup buttermilk
  3. Water as needed
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 cup mix vegetables ( carrot , sweet corn , cabbage, onions )
  6. Corriender leaves
  7. For tdka :-
  8. 2 tbsp oil
  9. 2-3 curry leaves
  10. 1 tsp mustard seeds

Instructions

  1. IN A BOWL ADD 1 CUP SUJI , 1 CUP BUTTERMILK AND SOME WATER
  2. AND MIX PROPERLY
  3. COVER AND KEEP ASIDE FOR HALF AN HOUR
  4. AFTER 30 MINUTES ADD 1 CUP MIX VEGETABLES , SALT AND CORRIENDER
  5. MIX IT WELL
  6. PREPARE TEMPERING WITH 2 TBSP OIL, 2 CURRY LEAVES AND 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS AND POUR ON THE BATTER
  7. ADD 1/4 TSP BAKING SODA AND 2 TBSP HOT WATER ON IT
  8. GREASE THE IDLI MOULD AND FILL WITH BATTER
  9. COOK IN A STEAMER FOR 5-7 MINUTES
  10. CHECK WITH TOOTHPICK AND LET IT COOL
  11. AND SERVE
