This is the one of healthiest khichdi , one pot meal we can say , full of proteins , this khichdi consist of more of yellow moong dal which is very easy to digest and little rice with veggies like onions , tomatoes green peas , this khichdi also consist of paneer and this gives taste of matar paneer , this can be served to kids , can be given in tiffin , even a diabetic person also can enjoy khichdi

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1Stick cinnamon
  2. 1Bay leaf
  3. 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1/2 Tsp corriander powder
  5. 1/2Tsp red chilly powder
  6. Yellow moong dal 1cup
  7. 1Cup rice
  8. 1Tsp cummin seeds
  9. Asafoetida a pinch
  10. Garam masala powder 1/4tsp
  11. Dry red chilly 1-2
  12. ginger 1tsp grated
  13. 1Onion chopped
  14. Tomotoes 2pureed
  15. Green peas boiled 1/2cup
  16. Cottage cheese cubes 1/2 cup
  17. Salt to taste
  18. Ghee 2tbsp
  19. Water as required
  20. Finely chopped corriender

Instructions

  1. ADD GHEE TO PAN
  2. ADD ASAFOEDITA
  3. ADD CUMMIN SEEDS , BAY LEAF ,CINNAMON , CURRY , LEAVES , DRY CHILLY
  4. ADD GINGER , CHILLY, AND ONIONS
  5. ADD CORRIANDER POWDER AND TURMERIC POWDER
  6. ADD RED CHILLY POWDER AND TOMATO PUREE
  7. AFTER A BOIL ADD DAL AND RICE
  8. ADD WATER AS REQUIRED
  9. COVER PAN WITH LID
  10. AFTER 1-2BOILS ADD GREEN PEAS AND COTTAGE CHEESE
  11. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  12. AS IT GETS COOKED REMOVE IN SERVING BOWL
  13. GARNISH WITH CORRIANDER LEAVES
