Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gosht - 500 gms
  2. Onion paste - 4 tbsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  4. Bay leaf - 1 - 2
  5. Green cardamom - 2 - 3
  6. Black cardamom - 1
  7. Mace - one piece
  8. Nut meg - one piece
  9. Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
  10. Cloves - 2 - 3
  11. Black pepper - 2 - 3
  12. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  14. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  15. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  16. Clarified butter / ghee - 4 tbsp
  17. Magaz paste - 2 tbsp
  18. Cashew nuts p;aste - 2 tbsp
  19. Cream - 2 tbsp
  20. Whole dried milk / mawa - 2 tbsp
  21. Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Crushed all whole garam masala and put in a muslin cloth.
  2. Seal the edges of the muslin cloth.
  3. In a pan add whole garam masala packet,salt and boil the mutton for half an hour.
  4. After boiled the mutton remove the whole garam masala packet.
  5. In other pan we add clarified butter / ghee.
  6. Add onion paste and fry till light brown.
  7. Add ginger garlic paste,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and salt and mix well.
  8. Add boiled mutton with water and cook for 5 - 6 mins.
  9. Add garam masala powder,magaz paste,cashew nuts paste and cream and mix well.
  10. Add whole dried milk / mawa and mix well.
  11. Serve hot with chapatis or rice.
