Eggless vanilla sponge cake

Ingredients to make Eggless vanilla sponge cake

  • 250g All purpose Flour
  • 200g icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • Half cup milk powder
  • Half cup lukewarm water
  • I tabs baking powder
  • Pinch baking soda& salt

How to make Eggless vanilla sponge cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees . Grease a baking tin with butter and keep aside.
  2. In a big bowl sift the all purpose flour with baking soda and baking powder and salt keep aside.
  3. In another bowl add all wet ingredients first milk powder, water, oil, vanilla extract and sugar powder mix with hand blender make a smooth paste.
  4. Add all sieved dry ingredients to wet ingredients with a wooden spoon. If there are tiny small lumps that is fine now batter is ready.
  5. Pour the cake batter in prepared baking tin bake at 180degree for 25 min, if top starts to get too brown, check with tooth pick if it comes out clean then cake is ready .. Serve with tea

My Tip:

You can bake also in pressure cooker But you must follow the pressure cooker steps :)

You can also use milk maid and 50 ml of liquid soda instead of milk and baking soda, that makes cake more soft and spongy.
