Onion Bhajiyas

Ingredients to make Onion Bhajiyas

  • 2 medium sized onions, thinly sliced
  • 6 tbsp flour/ gram flour
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil as required to deep fry

How to make Onion Bhajiyas

  1. Heat oil as required in a pan.
  2. Take a bowl, mix in the flour with all the listed powders and salt, pour in a little water to make a stiff batter. Then add in the sliced onions and mix well.
  3. Carefully drop spoonfuls of this batter into the heated oil and let them deep fry and cook for 2-3 minutes. Make sure to flip them as well in between.
  4. Once cooked, place these bhajiyas on absorbent kitchen paper to drain the excess oil.
  5. Served these onion bhajiyas instantly with any dip of your choice.
