Olivier Salad popularly known as Russian Salad is one of the most prominent dish of the Russian cuisine and quite famous in many other European & American countries. Served in different ways, this salad is a perfect amalgamation of healthy & flavorful ingredients. Rested on a crisp lettuce leaf and prepared with crispy colorful veggies, flavorful fruits, huge dollop of Mayonnaise, Fresh creams,black pepper along with a secret ingredient Olivier aka Russian Salad is worth to die for!

Ingredients Serving: 2

Diced Carrots – 1/2 cup
Finely diced Bell Pepper ( Red, Yellow, Green ) – 1/2 cup
French beans – 1/2 cup
Olives – 1/4 cup
Fresh Pomegranate seeds – 1/2 cup
Sweet corn boiled – 1/2 cup
Fresh Apples diced – 1/2 cup
Cranberries (dried) – 1/4 cup
Blueberries ( dried ) – 1/4 cup
Basil leaves – 1/2 cup
Diet Mayonnaise – 1/2 pack
Fresh cream – 1/3 cup
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Honey – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp

Instructions

Warm a pan and put 1/2 tsp of butter. Put all the veggies and simmer them for 5 minutes.
Now take them on a bowl and mix it will all the fruits, olives, dried fruits. Add Mayonnaise and Fresh cream. Add all the spices, salt and sugar.
Mix well. Now add honey.Mix it well. Refrigerate it for an hour.
Take the lettuce leaves and arrange them on a tray. Sprinkle basil leaves. Arrange the Russian Salad upon them. Serve it chilled!
