Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For croissants
  2. Atta - 1 cup
  3. Maida - 1/2 cup
  4. Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  5. Oil- 1 tablespoon
  6. Black Pepper crushed - 1 teaspoon
  7. Instant yeast - 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Water
  9. Salt to taste
  10. For Filling
  11. Chicken breast piece - 1 nos
  12. Black Pepper crushed - 2 teaspoon
  13. Cheese - 100 gram
  14. Butter - 2 tablespoon
  15. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take atta Maida sugar, salt, 1 tsp pepper , yeast in a bowl and mix well
  2. Add oil and water into it and make a dough. It should be smooth and firm but not stiff.
  3. Place the dough on to a lightly floured working surface and knead it well with your hand
  4. Return the ball of dough to a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Keep it for minimum 2 hours and let rise until doubled in size
  5. Meanwhile cut chicken into small pieces. Pressure cook chicken in pepper salt and water for 8 - 10 minutes
  6. Take a pan pour 2 tsp of butter and shallow fry chicken by adding 1/2 spoon pepper and salt to taste
  7. When dough rises almost double in size make two equal size balls from the kneaded dough and keep it covered with plastic wrap for another 10 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 450 °F or 230°C
  9. Meanwhile roll each dough ball like chappati using roller
  10. Cut it with knife and pizza cutter into 6 pie shaped wedges
  11. Cut cheese into 6 equal cubes and place it in each wedges. Then place fried chicken in each
  12. Roll wedges starting at the wide end. Place point side down in greased baking pan and brush each with butter
  13. Place it in the oven and cook it 10 to 15 minutes, or until it looks golden-brown.
  14. One bite is ready to serve. Serve it with tomato ketchup or hot chilli sauce
