ABOUT Maggi Chaat RECIPE

This recipe is for those moments when you crave for something chatpata, or when you dream of chaat, something quick to satisfy your cravings. My kids love it. It hardly takes few minutes to assemble it.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maggi Noodles 1, 70 gm pack
  2. Corriender mint chutney 1.5 tbsp
  3. Tamarind chutney 2 tbsp
  4. Curd 1/2 cup whisked
  5. Rock salt 1 /4 tsp
  6. Roasted cumin powder 1 /4 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1 /4 tsp
  8. Black pepper power 1 /4 tsp
  9. Chat masala 1 /4 tsp
  10. Ginger juliennes 1 /2 tsp
  11. Pomegranate seeds 2 tbsp
  12. Oil to deep fry the noodles

Instructions

  1. BOIL 5 CUPS OF WATER
  2. BOIL MAGGI NOODLES WITHOUT ADDING THE TASTEMAKER
  3. BOIL TILL THEY TURN SOFT
  4. STRAIN & COOL IN A COLANDER
  5. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL IN SMALL BATCHES
  6. FRY ON LOW HEAT TILL CRISP
  7. REMOVE FROM OIL, COOL
  8. PLACE FRIED NOODLE ON A PLATE, ADD 1/2 CUP CURD
  9. ADD 2 TBSP TAMARIND CHUTNEY
  10. ADD 1.5 TBSP CORIANDER-MINT CHUTNEY
  11. SPRINKLE 1/4 TSP EACH OF ROASTED CUMIN, ROCK SALT, PEPPER & CHAT MASALA
  12. SPRINKLE 1/4 TSP RED CHILLI, 1/2 TSP GINGER JULIENNES
  13. SPRINKLE 2 TBSP POMEGRANATE SEEDS
  14. TOP WITH FRESH CORIANDER, SERVE IMMEDIATELY
