Ingredients to make Halwa Sooji with a twist

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 3/4 cup ghee or refined oil
  • 2 Cups water

How to make Halwa Sooji with a twist

  1. In a large Kadhai, add all the ingredients except water.
  2. Bhuno/roast on medium flame till you get a nice golden brown colour
  3. add the water and cover.
  4. Let it cook for 5-6 mins. Remove the cover and mix well.
  5. Serve hot sprinkled with finely chopped nuts
