An innovative fusion and blend of indian gram flour chilla and italian pizza, here i present chillizza!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For pizza topping:- capsicum finely chopped 1 cup
  2. Tomato finely chopped 1 cup
  3. Onion finely chopped 1 cup
  4. Carrot grated 1 cup
  5. Oregano 1 tsp
  6. Black pepper 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Sugar 1 tsp
  9. Red chilli pwd 1 tsp
  10. Butter 1 tbsp
  11. Cheese grated 1 cup
  12. Mayonese 2 tbsp
  13. For chilla:- gram flour 2 cup
  14. Green chilli and garlic paste 2tbsp
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Carom seeds 1 tsp
  17. For roti base:- wheat flour 2 cup
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Water to knead

Instructions

  1. TAKE A WOK. ADD 1 TBSP BUTTER. WHEN BUTTER MELTS ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED ONION.
  2. THEN ADD GRATED 1 CUP CARROT
  3. NOW ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES 1 CUP
  4. NOW ADD SALT TO TASTE AND 1 TSP SUGAR
  5. NOW ADD 1 TSP BLACK PEPPER PWD AND 1 TBSP TOMATO SAUSE
  6. NOW ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED CAPSICUM AND 1 TSP OREGANO
  7. FINALLY ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI PWD AND LET THE PIZZA TOPPING COOL
  8. TAKE 2 CUP GRAM FLOUR IN A BOWL AND ADD 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS, SALT TO TASTE AND 1 TBSP GREEN CHILLI AND GARLIC PASTE
  9. MAKE BATTER OF CHILLA WHILE ADDING WATER ACC. TO CONSISTENCY NEITHER TOO THICK NOR TOO THIN
  10. KEEP BATTER ASIDE. TAKE 2 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR IN A BOWL ADD SALT TO TASTE AND KNEAD NORMAL DOUGH FOR ROTI .
  11. GREASE TAWA WITH BUTTER AND SPREAD CHILLA BATTER GENTLY
  12. THEN SPREAD PIZZA TOPPING ON THE CHILLA
  13. THEN SPREAD 1 TSP MAYONESE ON THE TOPPING AND ALSO GRATED CHEESE
  14. THEN ROLL A ROTI AND COVER THE CHILLA WITH THE ROTI AND GENTLY PRESS UPON THE ROTI SO THAT ROTI SIDES STICK TO THE CHILLA
  15. APPLY BUTTER UPON ROTI AND LET THE CHILLIZZA COOK FOR FEW MINS ON LOW FLAME
  16. AFTER FEW MINS FLIP THE CHILLIZZA AND COOK THE ROTI SIDE TOO ON A MEDIUM FLAME
  17. CHECK BOTH THE SIDES OF CHILLIZZA COOKED NICELY
  18. CUT THE CHILLIZZA WITH PIZZA CUTTER
  19. SERVE CHILLIZZA WITH TOMATO SAUSE AND GREEN CORIANDER CHUTNEY. ENJOY!
