Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. All purpose flour 2 cups
  2. Baking powder 1 tsp
  3. Butter 250 gms
  4. Sugar 100 gms
  5. 1 tblsp cocoa powder
  6. 120 ml milk
  7. Eggs 4
  8. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  9. Salt 1/2 tsp
  10. Sugar 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. SEIVE 2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, 1 TSP BAKING POWDER WITHOUT LUMPS
  2. ADD 250 GMS BUTTER, 1/2 CUP SUGAR, 1/2 TSP SALT, 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE TO MIXING BOWL
  3. BEAT IN MEDIUM SPEED TILL LIGHT AND FLUFFY
  4. SEPERATE EGG WHITES AND YOLKS FROM 4 EGGS. ADD ONE EGG YOLK AT A TIME AND BEAT TILL MIXED
  5. ADD 4 TBLSP OF SEIVED FLOUR MIX AND MIX EVENLY
  6. THEN ADD LITTLE MILK AND MIX (YOU MAY NEED APPX 120 ML MILK)
  7. REPEAT THE PROCESS OF ADDING FLOUR MIX AND MILK LITTLE BY LITTLE AND MIX WELL UNTIL THE ENTIRE FLOUR IS ADDED AND MIXTURE FORMS TO CREAMY CONSISTENCY
  8. BEST EGG WHITES TILL FOAMY
  9. ADD 100 GMS OF SUGAR TO EGG WHITE AND BEAT TILL MIXTURE TURNS TO THICK AND CREAMY
  10. ADD THE BEATEN EGG WHITE TO CAKE BATTER AND MIX USING FLIP METHOD.
  11. DIVIDE CAKE BATTER TO FOUR PARTS , TO ONE PART ADD 1 TBLSP OF COCOA POWDER AND MIX.
  12. ADD REQUIRED COLOURS TO REST OF CAKE BATTER AND MIX WELL ( I ADDED RED, YELLOW)
  13. IN GREASED, DUSTED CAKE TIN ADD PLAIN CAKE BATTER AS 1ST LAYER
  14. FOLLOWED BY COCOA BATTER, THEN OTHER COLOURS
  15. REPEAT THE LAYERING PROCESS UNTIL ENTIRE BATTER IS ADDED.
  16. USING SHARP SPATULA OR TOOTH PICK MAKE GENTLE SWRILLS OVER THE BATTER
  17. FOR FROSTING - MIX 1 TSP OF GELATIN TO 3 TBLSP OF WATER.
  18. HEAT TILL GELATIN IS MELTED AND MIXED.
  19. USING DOUBLE BOILER METHOD HEAT WHIPPING CREAM OR FRESH CREAM IN LOW HEAT TILL IT WARM
  20. ADD 25 GMS OF WHITE CHOCOLATE, 2 TBLSP BUTTER AND HEAT TILL MELTED AND MIXED
  21. POUR GELATIN MIX TO WARM CREAM AND MIX
  22. MIX WELL WITHOUT ANY LUMPS
  23. ADD THE CREAM OVER CAKE , COLLECT THE BALANCE MIXTURE AND POUR IT OVER THE CAKE AGAIN. REPEAT THE PROCESS TILL CREAM COATS THE CAKE COMPLETLY.
