Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Suji/semolina 2 cup
  2. Butter milk 2 cup
  3. 1/2 tsp edible soda
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Water as required for batter
  6. For Chutney :-
  7. Groundnuts roasted 1/2 cup
  8. Spring garlic 6-8 strands
  9. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  10. Green chilly 4-5
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Coriander handful
  13. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  14. Lemon 1/2
  15. Oil for Tadka

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl taje suji and add butter milk. Mix well and make batter. Add salt to taste and 1/2 tsp edible soda. Keep aside for 10 mins.
  2. For chutney:- roast ground nuts and remove the skin. Now in a jar of mixer, take spring garlic, coriander, green chillies, cumin seeds, ground nuts, salt to taste and squeeze 1/2 lemon. Grind well. Now make tadka in a pan. Pour 1 tsp oil, and crackle mustard seeds. Put tadka in chutney.
  3. Take a idli cooker. Pour idli batter in the idli plates. And steam idli for 15 mins.
  4. Serve hot idlis with spicy chutney of spring garlic and groundnuts.
