ABOUT Govi masala egg RECIPE

Simple cauliflower gravy with egg. Once you try this I bet you will surely make it more often. It's easy to prepare and finger liking tasty. Serve hot with Roti and enjoy a hearty meal.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. A small cauliflower cut into florets
  2. Two eggs
  3. oil 2 tbsp
  4. Ginger Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  5. Chili powder 1 tbsp
  6. Haldi powder 1 tbsp
  7. Jeera powder 1/2tbsp
  8. Dhania powder 1/2 tbsp
  9. Chicken masala 1/2 tbsp
  10. Curry powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Small piece of cinnamon
  12. One bay leaf
  13. 2 or 3 of pepper and clove
  14. half seed of a black cardamom
  15. One green cardamom
  16. Salt
  17. One onion
  18. One big tomato
  19. 1/4 cup Milk
  20. Green pea a handful
  21. Small potato chopped into tiny pieces
  22. One cup worm water

Instructions

  1. Wash the cauliflower florets and chop them with a knife into tiny pieces.
  2. Fine chop onion and tomato.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a heavy pan.
  4. Add the whole garam masalas.
  5. When a nice aroma comes add onion and saute.
  6. When onions brown a little add the ginger garlic paste.
  7. Fry till masala leaves the sides.
  8. Add the powder masalas except curry powder . Sprinkle little water and mix well.
  9. Stir in between till oil ooze out. Add tomato and Simmer the flame.
  10. Give everything a nice mix till tomatoes become soft. Add on the milk and stir constantly so that milk do not curdle.
  11. Now add the veggies and mix really well.
  12. Add salt. Cover. Stir in between.
  13. Mix on a low flame for about 5 to 8 minutes and then add worm water.
  14. Cover and cook till potatoes are done.
  15. Now break two eggs above the gravy. Sprinkle pinch of salt and curry powder.
  16. Again cover for five minutes.
  17. Stir once and switch off the gas. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti.
