ABOUT Paneer 65 RECIPE

Very crispy on the outside with soft paneer on the inside. Makes an excellent starter and is my husbands favourite. Make this yummy dish with this simple recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Paneer - 200 gms
  2. Maida - 5 tablespoon
  3. Cornflour - 5 tablespoon
  4. Chilli powder - 2 to 3 teaspoon
  5. Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Curd - 2 tablespoon
  7. Garam masala -1/4 teaspoon
  8. Water - as needed
  9. Salt - as needed
  10. Oil - for deep frying
  11. Big onion - 1 sliced thin
  12. Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Cut paneer into cubes. In a bowl, mix together the flours, chilli powder, salt, curd, garam masala, ginger garlic paste.
  2. Add water as needed to make a thick batter. Add in the chopped paneer cubes and mix well with your hands so that the batter coats the paneer well.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying. Add in 4 to 5 paneer cubes and deep fry till golden brown and crispy. Do this in batches, dont add all at a time. Deep fry in medium flame.Drain in tissue paper.
  4. Heat a pan with little oil, add onions and saute till translucent. Add in the deep fried paneer cubes and pepper powder and saute. Switch off the flame, drizzle lemon juice and serve hot!.
