Ingredients to make carrot and vermicelli stuffed semolina rolls

  • 1 cup Semolina
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds
  • 2 cup water
  • Oil for Deep frying
  • 1 big Grated carrot
  • 1/4 cup boiled vermicelli
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • Salt as per taste

How to make carrot and vermicelli stuffed semolina rolls

  1. First heat 2 cup water in a nonstick pan, add carom seeds ,salt and oil . Bring it to a boil . Add semolina and mix well . Keep stirring the mixture until mixture leaves the sides of the pan. Turn off the gas .
  2. To make stuffing, take a pan add some oil, add finely chopped garlic into it ,saute for 2 minutes , add grated carrot , cook for 5 minutes and add boiled vermicelli , salt and black pepper powder. Mix all ingredients well.
  3. Now heat oil in a kadai or pan . Divide the semolina dough into equal portion.
  4. Grease your palm, take one portion of dough and flatten it with hands. Put carrot stuffing on center and gather the both edges and give a cylinder shape for roll . Repeat this process with other portion of dough .
  5. Deep fry these rolls . Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
