Chinesse Pav-Bhaji

Ingredients to make Chinesse Pav-Bhaji

  • 2 cups Cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1/2 cup Bell-peppers, finely sliced (I used all color bell-peppers)
  • 1/4 cup Carrots, shredded (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Potatoes, boiled and grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 2 Green chilies, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Schezwan chutney or sauce (I have used Ching's brand)
  • 1 tbsp Manchurian stir fry sauce (I used Ching's)
  • 1 tsp Pav-bhaji Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Few Cilantro leaves, slices of bell-pepper and some grated cheese to garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • For the Buns:
  • 1 tbsp Schezwan chutney or sauce

How to make Chinesse Pav-Bhaji

  1. Heat the pan with butter and oil. Add the onions and green chilies and saute for 1-2 minutes on a medium-high flame.
  2. Then add the garlic paste. Add all the vegetables (cabbage, carrots bell-pepper and green onions) then mix and cook for about 2 minutes.
  3. Next, add schezwan chutney or sauce and the manchurian stir fry sauce and mix well.
  4. Then add the boiled noodles, boiled and grated potatoes along with the pav-bhaji masala.
  5. Finally add salt, soya sauce and vinegar. Mix it well, then turn off the stove.
  6. Garnish with some chopped cilantro, slices of bell-peppers and grated process cheese. Serve hot with some schezwan buns.
  7. To make the buns, mix the butter and schezwan chutney at room temperature. Apply on each buns and cook it on grill or a pan till it gets a little crispy.
  8. Serve it hot with Chinese Bhaji.
