Mosambi Chicken with Honey ginger Reduction

Ingredients to make Mosambi Chicken with Honey ginger Reduction

  • 250 Gms Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 500 ml Freshly Squeezed Mosambi Juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 Tsp cinnamon Powder
  • 3 Tbsp Honey
  • 20 gm Ginger (crushed)

How to make Mosambi Chicken with Honey ginger Reduction

  1. Put small cuts in chicken breast using a small knife.
  2. Add chicken pieces, Mosambi juice, salt, pepper and cinnamon powder in a big bowl.
  3. Let it sit undisturbed for atleast 4 hours to marinate properly.
  4. Heat a non stick Pan to high heat and lower the flame before adding chicken.
  5. Put the Chicken pieces one by one in the pan.
  6. Gradually add a little(1 Tbsp at a time) juice mixture over the pieces while cooking.
  7. Flip the piece once one side is cooked properly and do the same for the other side.
  8. While cooking chicken add all the remaining juice in a Sauce pan , add honey and crushed ginger in it.
  9. Meanwhile cook juice mixture on high heat for 10-15 min so that it gets reduced and obtain a thick sauce consistency.
  10. Once the chicken is cooked properly remove from pan. Plate the chicken and pour sauce over it.

My Tip:

Serve it with a Salad in Vinaigrette Dressing.
