ABOUT Oats Walnut Muffins RECIPE

A cupcake made with oats, walnuts and bananas. A healthy dessert that is perfect for pregnancy cravings too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 ripe bananas mashed
  2. 1/2 cup pure ghee, you can use butter or any unflavoured oil
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  5. 1/3 cup Oats
  6. 1/4 cup walnuts -grounded to powder
  7. 1 cup wholewheat flour
  8. 3 tbsp pure coco powder.I have used calibuet
  9. 1 tsp baking pwdr
  10. Salt a pinch-skip If using salted butter

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas. Keep them aside
  2. Take ghee melt it and start whisking it
  3. Add the eggs and whisk again followed by sugar
  4. Keep whisking
  5. Then add the oats and mashed bananas
  6. Take the flour, walnut powder, cocoa powder and baking powder. Whisk the dry ingridents
  7. Gradually add the dry INGRIDENTS into the wet
  8. Stir gently until combine
  9. Spoon in the muffin cups (I have used silicon moulds so haven't greased them)
  10. Bake at 180 degrees preheated oven for 15 to 18 mins
  11. Opitional:you can use nuts to sprinkle on top of the muffins before baking.I have used few pumpkin seeds
