ABOUT Simple yellow dal with methi stuffed paranthi RECIPE

A stuffed paratha made with fenugreek leaves and served with some dal, a perfect yummy breakfast option.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup yellow dal
  2. Salt
  3. 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1 tsp desi ghee
  5. 1 cup chopped methi [fenugreek leaves]
  6. Salt
  7. Wheat flour dough [made with flour, salt and water]

Instructions

  1. Boil the dal with salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Add desi ghee in it
  3. Divide the dough into equal sized roundels.
  4. Flatten each roundel of dough, spread some ghee and sprinkle some salt.
  5. Sprinkle some methi leaves
  6. Roll and make parantha
  7. shallow fry the paratha and serve with the dal.
