Ingredients to make Cumin-Coriander Flavored Oats Lassi

  • 1/2 cup thick curd/yogurt
  • 1 and 1/2 cup chilled water
  • 2 tbsp Quaker oats
  • 1/2 tbsp jeera/Cumin, freshly roasted and grounded
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp of fresh minced coriander
  • 1/2 tbsp dry rose petals, optional

How to make Cumin-Coriander Flavored Oats Lassi

  1. Pour the curd in a bowl and whisk it well, then add in the oats powder and whisk again. Next, pour in the chilled water and salt to taste and stir well.
  2. Serve this drink chilled with a garnish of fresh jeera powder, coriander leaves and rose petals.

My Tip:

I always dry roast oats and make a fine powder of it and store it an air tight container. It's always handy when stored like that. You can play with flavours on making this lassi. I sometimes add a tbsp of fresh lemon juice to give it a zing.
