A sweet and a little spicy soup is the best way to add vegetables in your children's diet.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Carrot- 2
  2. Ginger-1 cm length
  3. Bay leaf- 1
  4. Oil- 2 tsp
  5. Pepper powder- 2 tsp
  6. Corn flour- 2 tsp ( optional)
  7. Water- 2 cup + 1\4 cup
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate the outer skin of carrot, wash and chop into cubes. Heat oil in a thick bottom pan. Add in the bay leaf, chopped ginger, and saute for a while.
  2. Then add in the cubed carrot and saute for some time till it is slightly cooked. Then turn off and allow it to cool.
  3. Remove the bay leaf and transfer it to a mixer and make a fine paste of it with some water. Again add the ground paste with 2 cups of water into the same cooker. Add in the salt and cook for sometime till it thickens a bit.
  4. If using corn flour, mix it with some water and add to it. Keep stirring and turn it off when it becomes thick.
  5. Add pepper powder and serve it hot.
