ABOUT Milk barfi RECIPE

This is a delicious recipe to make burfis at home for festivities.

Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. Milk - 1 litre
  2. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  3. lemon - 1
  4. Green cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Pistachios [for garnishing]
  6. Ghee - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk in a saucepan.
  2. Once the milk has boiled enough, add lemon juice so that the milk curdle to form the paneer.
  3. Now strain it and take it out in a pan, add the sugar and green cardamom powder. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. Now once the burfi has cookde and darkened enough, pour this mixture into a plate greased with some ghee.
  5. Now spread it well.
  6. Once the mixture has set and hardened enough, cut it into pieces or burfis. Garnish them with pistachios.
