Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients to make Chocolate Pudding

  • 1 and 1/2 Cups of Milk (300 ml)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

How to make Chocolate Pudding

  1. In a mixing bowl, take cocoa powder and custard powder. Mix them together and add in 1/2 cup milk and vanilla essence, keep whisking until a smooth paste is formed without any lumps.
  2. In a sauce pan or wok, add the sugar and remaining 1 cup milk, mix this well on a low to medium heat. Once it boils, lower the flame and gradually add the prepared choco mix .
  3. Keep stirring continuously and cook until a thick glossy mixture is formed. Then turn off the flame.
  4. Pour the pudding mixture in rinsed glasses or cups. Let it cool down a little, then cover them with a cling film and refrigerate to set.
  5. Serve chilled with any of your favourite fruits like strawberry or mango. (I have served it with Truti Frutti.)

My Tip:

Rinsing the cup or bowl with water prior to adding the pudding mixture avoids the sticking of pudding to the container.
