Healthy bite for a pregnant lady and for elders. Made with lots of nuts, spices and edible gum. Winter special vasanu for everyone to make themselves healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Full cream milk 2 littre
  2. Edible gum / gund 200 gram
  3. Ghee 200 gram
  4. Saakar 250 gram
  5. Batrishu 100 gram (spices mix)
  6. Almonds 100 gram
  7. Cashews 100 gram
  8. Khush khush seeds 50 gram
  9. Magajtari seeds 50 gram
  10. Roasted grated coconut 250 gram
  11. Cardamom 20 gram
  12. Nutmeg 2
  13. Crushed almonds and cashews

Instructions

  1. Take a large kadai add milk and bring it to boil.
  2. Keep stirring in between when it boiling.
  3. When it start to boiling add saakar and keep stirring.
  4. Now on another flame heat kadai add ghee for simmer.
  5. Add almonds and cashews and fry it one by one and keep aside.
  6. Now add gund in ghee and fry it till it double in volume.
  7. Fry gund in two batch and keep aside at roop temperature.
  8. Dry roast the grated coconut and keep aside.
  9. Now crush the gund and fried almonds and cashews separately.
  10. Don't make a fine powder just crush coarsely one by one.
  11. Now milk is little thick after boiling.
  12. Now add crushed gund and mix it.
  13. Add roasted grated coconut and magajtari seeds then mix it.
  14. Add khush khush seeds and mix it.
  15. Add khush khush seeds , batrisu then mix well.
  16. Now mixture is little thick add crushed almonds and cashews.
  17. Mix cardamom and nutmeg in mixi jaar then make a fine powder.
  18. Add cardamom and nutmeg powder and mix again.
  19. Keep mixing on slow flame till it becomes like a dough.
  20. Remove from flame and leave on room temperature.
  21. Now make small balls or laddu from mixture.
  22. Now roll laddu in crushed almonds and cashews and coat it evenly.
  23. Make all laddu same way.
  24. Your healthy gund laddu is ready to serve.
