Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups cornflakes
  2. 1/4 cup peanuts
  3. 3 tsp olive oil / canola oil
  4. 1/2 tsp chat masala and/or sugar as per taste
  5. 1/4 cup cashews
  6. few curry leaves
  7. 2tbsp raisins
  8. 1tsp Kashmiri chili powder
  9. Pinch of turmeric
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a kadai, take oil, add peanuts and roast until crisp, to this add cashews and saute until golden brown. Add raisins, curry leaves and saute until raisins puff up
  2. Add turmeric, chilli powder, chaat masala/Sugar and salt to taste. If you like spicy, do not add sugar, only chat masala however if you like taste of mix of sweet and spice then add both sugar and chat masala. Add cornflakes mix everything well. Do not break the corn flakes
  3. Alternatively you can always fry cornflakes separately till light golden brown and then add fried cornflakes to rest of ingredients . This makes corn flakes very crisp
  4. Switch off flame, allow it to cool and store in air tight container
