ABOUT Warm Popsicle RECIPE

It's a very unique popsicle as it's warm. The secret ingredient is jaggery as it has been added to one bottom layer of mawa to give it sweetness and color twist. Rest delicious carrot halwa has been put up in this popsicle which is almost a favourite sweet among all age groups.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Carrots, 250gram
  2. Sugar, 1/4 cup
  3. Full cream Milk, 1 cup
  4. Cardamom powder, 1/4tsp
  5. Ghee, 1tsp
  6. Nuts(Cashews,Almonds,Raisins), 2tsp
  7. Mawa, 1/2cup
  8. Jaggery, 1tsp, grated

Instructions

  1. Take carrots and wash and peel and then grate them.
  2. Now take a pan and add milk and carrots and boil it.
  3. Now let it cook until the carrots turn soft by stirring occasionally on simmer flame. You will see the milk also gets reduced.
  4. It will take around 12-15minutes to get the milk completely absorbed.
  5. Meanwhile roast cashews and almonds and then chop them and keep aside.
  6. Now add the sugar, cardamom powder and ghee to it and mix well and let the sugar get dissolved and halwa gets thicken.
  7. Mix in the 1+1/2tsp nuts into halwa well and it's ready.
  8. Now take jaggery in a pan and add 3/4tsp water and melt it and then add 1+1/2tsp mawa to it and mix well. Mawa will turn little brownish.
  9. Now take rest plain mawa and mix in rest 1/2tsp nuts.
  10. Now take a popsicle mould and put mawa in it then add the prepared carrot halwa in it and then add the jaggery mawa to it and let it set for 6-7minutes.
  11. Enjoy this delicious combination.
