Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Jelly:-
  2. 1 kg strawberries ( 10 to 12 for garnishing)
  3. 200 gm caster sugar
  4. 600 ml water
  5. 11 gm powdered gelatine
  6. For Custard Pudding:-
  7. 1/2 cup custard powder ( Bird's Custard powder, original flavour)
  8. 900 ml cold milk
  9. 4 tbsp caster sugar

Instructions

  1. For Jelly:-
  2. 1. Place sugar & water in a large pan and bring it to boil . boil for 5 to 10 minutes then remove from the heat . place to one side leave to cool.
  3. 2. Take 10 to 12 of the strawberries keep to one side for garnish . pulp the remaining strawberries with a hand blender. place the strawberries pulp into a large basin & pour over the cooled sugar syrup. cover it & leave to infuse for 30 minutes.
  4. 3. Place 1/4 cup of cold water into a small dish sprinkle the powdered gelatine into the water and leave untouched for 5 minute.
  5. 4. Heat strawberry syrup in a pan add the powdered gelatine & water , simmer very gently (Do not allow to boil ) until the gelatine has completely dissolved.
  6. 5. Fill strawberry jelly syrup into as your wish jelly mould. place into refrigerator and leave to set.
  7. For Custard Pudding:-
  8. 1. Take 1/2 cup of cold milk from 900 ml of milk.add 4 tablespoons of custard powder with 4 tablespoons sugar .
  9. 2. Mix smoothly until dissolved. in the meantime place the rest of milk in a pan to heat .
  10. 3. When nearly boiling remove from the heat. pour the mixed custard to milk, stir well .
  11. 4. Return the custard to heat and bring to boil. stirring continuously. let it cool
  12. 5. Pour the custard into the set jelly mould as per your desire. place it back into refrigerator.
  13. 6. Remove from the refrigerator when it set . and garnishing with remaining fresh strawberries. serve it cool. enjoy delicious pudding.
