This is a delicious winter desert made with carrots, a perfect decadent desert made for party and festive occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. carrots 500gm
  2. Sugar 1cup
  3. Milk powder 3 tbsp
  4. Milk 1/2 cup
  5. Pinch of salt
  6. dried cardamom powder 1/2tsp
  7. Ghee 3tbsp
  8. raisins 2tbsp
  9. poppy seeds 1 tsp ( secret ingredient)

Instructions

  1. At first take a pan and add 2 tbsp ghee. heat it and fry raisin. keep it aside.
  2. Now put the grated carrot and fry it on a low flame,add pinch of salt.
  3. When the carrot becomes soft ,add sugar and stir it continuously.
  4. After some time ,you can add the poppy seeds in it and fried raisin.
  5. Take a pot and mix other ingredients like milk, powder milk. Do it very carefully. make the paste very smooth.
  6. Add the mixture, stir it continuously. at that time add 1tbs ghee and cardamom powder.
  7. Turn off the gas,and give it standing time for 4- 5 minutes. Serve it.
